The College has adopted the Canadian Medical Association’s Code of Ethics and Professionalism and the Canadian Association of Physician Assistant’s Code of Ethics as a compilation of guidelines which provide common ethical frameworks for medical practitioners and physician assistants.
Adherence to the applicable Code of Ethics, and the College’s Standards, Guidelines, and By-Laws is the first lens through which a registrant’s conduct is viewed by the College. As such, registrants are expected to remain current with these documents.
