Registrants who are closing their practice, or taking a leave of 3 months or longer, must follow the Standard of Practice: Closing or Taking Leave from a Medical Practice. The College also provides Frequently Asked Questions and a Physician Checklist to explain what to do.
To tell the College about a closure or leave, Registrants must submit the Notification of Closing or Taking Leave from a Medical Practice form.
