2025 Council Elections

 

CPSNL will be holding a Council Election on December 1, 2025. The voting window will be open from November 14, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., December 1, 2025. The composition of Council, as detailed in the Medical Act, 2011, was recently changed to ensure more diverse geographic representation. Click here to view the Health Regions.

CPSNL is inviting nominations for Council for one (1) remaining seat on Council. This seat is open to active eligible CPSNL Registrants that live or practice in any Health Region. Nominations for this seat will be accepted until 12:30 p.m. on November 12.

Serving on the CPSNL Council is a challenging and rewarding commitment that requires time and participation in Council and Committee meetings. Council members are remunerated for attending Council and Committee meetings and any required travel is covered in accordance with CPSNL’s travel and business expense policy.

Please review The Ideal Candidate document to determine your eligibility to run. If you are interested in this opportunity, please approach two (2) colleagues who are CPSNL Registrants to nominate you as a candidate and complete the Nomination Form.

Nominations will be accepted until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
