2025 Council Elections
The election held by the College to fill one (1) seat in Health Region 1 (Eastern Urban), one (1) seat in Health Region 2, 4 or 5 (Eastern Rural, Western, or Labrador-Grenfell) and one (1) seat in Health Region 2, 4 or 5 (Eastern Rural, Western, or Labrador-Grenfell) ended on December 1, 2025.
Online voting was conducted by Simply Voting. CPSNL received two (2) nominations prior to the close of nominations on November 1, 2025. Those candidates were acclaimed.
CPSNL sent a second call for nominations for the remaining seat, open to any health region, on October 24, 2025. CPSNL received five (5) nominations prior to the close of the second window on November 14, 2025.
On December 2, 2025, the Chair of Council, the CEO and Registrar, and the Associate Registrars for CPSNL met to review the voting report from Simply Voting and to certify the election results. The results are as follows:
- Dr. Lynn Dwyer was acclaimed.
- Dr. Robert Forsey was acclaimed.
- Dr. Michael Parsons was elected.
