Preparing for a Peer Review
Prior to the peer review, physicians will receive a number of documents to help them prepare, including:
- Information about the review process
- information about practice quality risk and support factors
- relevant College reference material, including the reviewer’s toolkit
Peer reviewers will be provided with information to help them conduct their review, including:
- a reviewer toolkit
- a physician’s pre-review questionnaire(s)
- a physician’s CPD history
Peer review of medical records takes approximately three hours.
