Full Licence Requirements – Transition from Provisional to Full

1. obtained Provisional Licensure via the Acceptable Alternatives to Certification Eligibility Policy;
2. registered on the Provisional Register and holds a Provisional Licence – Family Medicine Practice or Specialty Practice under Medical Regulations, 2023, for a continuous period of at least three years;
3. practiced under a College approved Oversight and Assessment Program for the three year period described in (2) above; and
4. provides evidence to the satisfaction of Council that they have the knowledge, skills, and competencies to obtain a Full Licence – Family Medicine Practice or Specialty Practice based on the successful completion of an Oversight and Assessment Program.
